Natural Health and Yoga:
The yoga aim is to help and teach the person
to take care of him / herself in order to overcome disease or to maintain
the actual health status.
For this the yoga does serve as a vehicle
in which the person is coming closer to the nature.
Those are the yoga instruments to help us
coming closer to the nature:
1 Corporal heating and preparation through
stretching and soft exercises.
2 Breathing exercises: to be aware of it
and to exercise the different respiratory forms and rhythmic regulation
of the breathing.
3 Asanas or postures: an asana is the specific
form of yoga and consists in the adoption of a corporal posture during
a certain lapse of time, with the attention (concentration) directed towards
a determined somatic zone and in peacefulness, under a certain form and
respiratory rhythm, which is peculiar to each asana.
The asana or posture works according to
the basic movements of the spine:
1 Postures.
2 Counterpostures.
3 Complementary postures.
For their immobility and passivity the
asana exercise benefit the muscular, circulatory, respiratory and endocrine
system as well as the improvement of the homeostasis.
4 Conscious relaxation between the different
postures and at the end of the asana according to the traditional techniques.
5 Concentration: development of the corporal
attention for the precocious detection of possible imbalances.
6 Some little more dynamic exercises (i.
e. Sun Salutation) in order to maintain the blood circulation, muscular
tone and strength.
As our sensibility increases with practice
our life is becoming more cautious and observant. It is in the quietness
of our inside where we find the soft call of the nature.
