Some Important Points are:
1. Try to be aware of your body by comparing
sensations with attention and feeling the difference. Check your feelings
after every exercise.
2. Practice softly and slowly to achieve
flexibility, avoid jerks, be mild with yourself.
3. Try to improve the body posture. It
is healthy, gives self respect, better self image and acceptance.
4. Search the middle point in the practice
to avoid extreme tendencies. Find the equilibrium by the relaxation.
5. The regularity is most important, not
intensity. Little and soft practice should be done every day in a natural
way. Yoga is very much effective if a continuous personal practice is
maintained for a long time.
6. Yoga should be complemented with the
regular practice of any aerobic exercise as walking, swimming or cycling.
7. Yoga is and individual practice, it
is personal and not competitive. Avoid comparison with others and look
onto yourself.
8. Find out the middle point in the practice.
Do not force. Do not go to the maximum.
